National Hispanic Heritage Month News

At Redmann Law, we’re excited to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, recognizing the contributions of our diverse Hispanic and Latino communities. Que Pasa Fest on October 8th and 9th was held at Lafreniere Park in Metairie. It’s an annual free event with something for the whole family to enjoy, including lots of tasty food vendors, an incredible live music line-up, and a Sunday soccer game. Redmann Law was there along with other local businesses to introduce our legal team and services to festival goers.

Back to School Drive

Redmann Law also believes in investing in the young scholars in our community. We’re proud of our ongoing partnership with the Murphy Education & Sports Foundation and Jambalaya News Louisiana Back-to-School drive, providing school supplies and brand-new backpacks to help local students kickstart the school year. Redmann Law also provides a lawyer on-site at the drive to connect with local families.

Coastal Tree Cycling

Preventing erosion is an essential strategy to protect our beautiful coastlines, and Redmann Law is committed to the effort. For the past two years, team members from Redmann Law have joined the Jefferson Parish Ecosystem and Coastal Management team to plant cypress trees along the Gulf coast in Lafitte. Volunteers from Redmann Law also help to pack and ship old Christmas trees, which are repurposed to construct a
coastal barrier to protect our coastline against severe storms.

Redmann Law supports the LGBTQ+ community.

We have donated to PLFAG- New Orleans Scholarship fund. Redmann Law also helped sponsor the New Orleans PRIDE Parade. All the proceeds from the parade were donated to the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts.

COVID-19

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic RL donated sanitizers to the Jefferson Parish Police Department so that their front-line workers can be safe while keeping our community safe.

Crescent City Classic

Members of the RL staff and their friends ran in support for the CASA Jefferson. The mission of CASA Jefferson is to “To break the cycle of child abuse and neglect through volunteers advocating for safe, nurturing, and permanent homes for foster children in our community.”
