⚠️⚠️ I do not understand why this firm has such high ratings. In 2014, while exercising at a crosswalk at St. Charles and Carrollton Avenue, I was run over by a streetcar at about 12PM. The operator had a history of running over someone else before this.
My injuries were catastrophic: a split scalp, my nose moved under my left eye, a cracked spine, and severe lacerations all over my body. My shoes were covered in blood and one was stuck underneath the trolley.
Despite clear liability and physical injuries, this firm only gave me four payments of $8,000 (only $32,000 for almost dying - people get more than that from eating spoiled food at a restaurant). I already had solid medical insurance. When I questioned why the amount was so low, Mr. Redmann told me we couldn't ask for more because a jury would be "too envious of my muscular legs." I was only 22 years old. ⚠️⚠️

I was planning my entire day to go to the office in Gretna but when I called to make my appointment they told me of their office in Metairie! That saved me hours in traffic. Everything went well and I brought all my paperwork so it was pretty fast. I hope to not get into another accident but knowing this city it might happen and when it does, I'll call them again.

Response from the owner:The details in this review lead us to believe we know which old case this is. If we are correct, the accident happened 12 (yes, 12) years ago, and the case ended about ten years ago. The review leaves out important facts about the case, the risks involved, and the work our firm did. A law firm cannot force a client to accept a settlement. The client always has the final say. A client may accept a settlement or reject it and take the risks of going to trial. We strongly disagree with several things stated in this review. However, our duty to protect a former client’s private information prevents us from discussing the evidence, legal advice, medical and insurance issues, or other details publicly. Everything went really smoothly with Edward, he called when there were new updates. Jasmine & Katlen were also very nice when they called about stuff, they would ask how I was doing which I thought was nice

I would most definitely recommend John W. Redmann to anybody, they handled both my cases I had at the same time efficiently and orderly it was just doing as they said and I was treated right. I’d recommend anybody to have Redmann be their first stop before anywhere else
