Mr. Causey has over twenty years of experience practicing in the field of personal injury. Born in Louisiana, Mr. Causey attended Louisiana State University and The University of Texas at Austin receiving, respectively, a B.A. and M.A. in English literature. He attended L.S.U. Law School and, thereafter clerked for a state appellate judge.

After gaining some experience in commercial litigation practice, beginning in 1993, he has practiced principally in the area of personal injury, including motor-vehicle-accident claims, products-liability claims, medical malpractice claims, and insurance claims, including life- and property-insurance claims. Mr. Causey has practiced in both state and federal district courts in Louisiana. He also has experience in both briefing matters and arguing before the state appellate courts.

When not practicing law, Mr. Causey enjoys horticultural interests, wood-working endeavors, reading, and attending movies and music events.
